ENGL 431 | Theory and Practice in Tutoring Composition

Course Description

English 431 offers training and experience in working with student writing. The course provides an introduction to theories and practices of writing instruction and serves is a recommended for those that want to teach academic writing. A component of this course is a practicum that requires you to intern. I chose the ESL Resource Center, this practicum experience provides a rich resource for us to explore how best to mentor students in various stages of their writing processes.
